I've recently been doing more event presentations as part of my job, and I've had several fellow stutterers approach me after and thank me for pushing through on stage. Really eye-opening that there are more of us out there. I truly never met another stutterer until I went to university and I had a prof who made the most absurd word substitution choices to avoid blocks in front of the lecture.
