I have been this way since I was a kid too, nearly 30 now. Still stutter bad around my parents. Never understood why as my parents have always been supportive and non judgemental. Just have stupid advice sometimes lol but can't blame people who do that as it's hard to fully understand a disability that you don't have and never experienced. I talk great around my friends, and not so bad with strangers but it still pops up. When I was a high-school, around 10th grade I stopped "caring" that i stuttered, I was honestly just over it and it helped for the rest of HS Just rambling now -_- but stick in there, continue trying to improve!
