That is amazing... my mother always tried her best to help me as a child but what we know today is so much more than what we knew when I was 6 years old (I’m 27). The best thing anyone can do for you son is to confirm to him that there is nothing wrong with his stutter. If he can become comfortable with it early in life, he will have a much easier time building fluency as he becomes older. I only became comfortable with it in college when I attended group speech therapy. I highly recommend it for your son if there are any groups for stuttering close to you. You’re an awesome mom. Thank you for being there to support your son, because very few people will understand the challenges he will face.
