The more you do it the easier it will get. You need to develop a different mentality. Go on the attack. What are speaking situations that scare you? Get out of your comfort zone and start engaging in them. For me it started with making simple phone calls to stores and asking questions. That was years ago, now my phone anxiety is gone. To beat the fear you need to face the fear. You can't wait for the uncomfortable and anxiety ridden situations to happen, you need to face them consciously, with courage, over and over. It's not even about stuttering. No one but you cares about that. The thing is the stuttering gets better on its own when you have the courage to face the fear on your own terms.
