2-year old developed a significant stutter abruptly

2-year old developed a significant stutter abruptly My two year old daughter has been speaking more or less in full sentences for a month or two, and of course has been using words for over a year. Until very recently, she had no issues with her speech. Last week one evening, she abruptly developed a pretty significant stutter. I'm blown away by how quickly this has developed. She is repeated syllables and having blocks. It feels like I'm looking back in time to myself as a child. I know that it is common for kids this age to develop a temporary stutter, but with the severity of what I see and the blocks especially I am preparing myself for this to be a part of her life. I want to start getting information on how and when I can help her out. She is still so young and still learning to speak properly (aside from the stutter). I want to make sure she has access to speech therapy and any other treatments that may be available. I'm just not sure what the right age is to productively intervene. I haven't been paying attention to any progress in treatments that may have progressed over the last 25 years or so. I also am interested in people here who have kids who stutter, and how quickly it developed and at what age. I really appreciate it! (Some background on family history: I used to have a severe stutter as a child. I am now 40 and while I still stutter everyday, it is much less prominent than was when I was a kid. As a child, I had a really heavy stutter that affected my social development and confidence (thankfully worked entirely through that and no longer a problem!) I never did many repetitions and but I have a lot of blocks. My sister also has a stutter but more with repetitions. We got it from my mom as her brother has a heavy stutter still into adulthood.)
