I have recently learned that people who have a stammer fall into the category of being 'neuro-diverse' - so our brains are wired differently from other, more fluent folk. So, it possibly will never go away completely. I personally found a lot of solace when I made that discovery. Something about it being out of my control, you know. With hard work and time, you can absolutely diminish your stutter. Are you actively doing anything to work on your stammer (therapy etc)? Acceptance is the first step towards a better future. I am not there yet myself, but I trust the process. Hear to chat if needed x
