☝️this comment is a perfect example of why it’s so valuable to have communities exclusively for people who stutter. When people who don’t stutter come here, you can end up having this kind of conversation— basically the commenter said “it’s okay, everyone stutters, I don’t think you all need to be so upset”— after reading dozens of posts of people who are clearly upset. When I point this out, I’m accused of “hostility.”— from an outsider, in my own community. u/RushHot6160 it’s okay to come into the community even if you don’t have a stutter, but the tactful thing would be to do a lot more listening than speaking. Your comments were basically informing us that we are all wrong about stuttering and you are correct. Which is pretty crazy considering you don’t even have a stutter.
