One time I told a friend I stutter because he realized I was avoiding certain words, he then proceeded to say “you don’t stutter” i responded “I do, you probably just don’t always hear it or can’t tell” then I proceeded to stutter on a word accidentally then I pointed it out he said “that’s not stuttering you tripped over a word” mind you I been stuttering since I was two years old and my father and grandfather stutters. I have bad days and just really bad months sometimes with some people I hardly stutter.
