The resilience often goes unspoken, so yes. But complete peace depends on the trajectory one has set for themselves. If you aspire to be a captivating public speaker, for example, the very goal cannot allow acceptance of stuttering. In a sense, future expectations tend to determine present mindset. Personally, I will never accept it. Not that I necessarily aspire to become a public speaker, but because I won't allow for a reality where stuttering dictates the life choices I make in any shape or form. And I've made great strides, as I have become quite good at public speaking and sales.
