First. I'm sorry. Our stuttering can be so damaging and causes us pain that others just can't comprehend. Second. Don't surrender. Do NOT drop out. Don't let your stutter dictate your actions. If you drop out, you're going to have to live with that decision every damn day forward. Read other posts here. You'll find stories from people that dropped out because of their stutter. I don't know how long your presentation is, but you can get through it. Pass or fail, getting up in front of the class and making the attempt is victory. Grades be damned. Be proud of the strength you've shown just by standing up in front of the class. And if someone laughs at you during your presentation, don't accept it. Stop the presentation and tell them to leave. That's completely unacceptable behavior on their part. I'll be honest... I'm pissed just thinking about people laughing at you for this. That room belongs to you while you are presenting. You own that space. With regards to therapy... Were you with the same therapist, or did you try more than one therapist? Some therapists are not good at their jobs. Some therapists may not be a good fit for you. If you're not making progress with a therapist, seek a different therapist. This applies to both psychologist and speech therapists. Here is a post someone here just made 3 days ago about having to make a presentation. There are all kinds of these posts here. You are not alone.
