I'm soon to be 53 and definitely believe stuttering molded my personality , I've always felt like I would be a completely different person had it not been for stuttering. In spite of this I've been married 30 years and have 3 grown kids so that part of life has been good but the everyday interactions with people at work and elsewhere have been a constant battle , although I have a good job and the people I work with treat me with respect it hasn't always been that way. I don't think many people can fathom how damn tough you have to be to go through life stuttering. To the young stutters out there, hold your head high, grit your teeth and move forward you'll make it.
