Indeed of course it helps to have inner acceptance of a 'disability' if we want to even call it that, acceptance will be the biggest milestone to cross So for that I'm glad it helps. Also age makes a huge difference. As I got older it matters less and less. It was a big big deal in highschool. And a smaller deal after college and all that
