It’s my experience/opinion that the blocks result from being so ashamed/scared of others hearing your repetitions, that you try *so* hard to push the words out, they actually get stuck. The physical process involved is called the valsalva maneuver. Blocking is very negatively impactful so of course you want to address it, but ironically, you do that by learning to be ok with others hearing your repetitions. If you are interested, I can share the *tangible* steps I took to become someone who is now able to speak confidently and clearly
