I do not consider my stutter a disability. Maybe because I have lived life with it and it has not noticeably held me back. If I ever got wind of the fact I was discriminated again because of it I would raise the issue. A stutter is a recognised disability under the disability discrimination legislation. As an aside, I have recently plunged into the job market and a lot of applications ask if I have a recognised disability, I always tick no.
