For context, it's important to disclose your stutter if it's someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. I personally have had a girlfriend for the past two years. I stutter way less around her, but it was still important for me to disclose. Dating apps have helped as I didn't always have to actually talk to the girl in real life lol. In any case, here's a perspective of a member from my community: "I'm very open with my stutter when approaching girls but it took a while to open up. I was always waiting for girlfriends to ask about it but they waited a while and then maybe i would bring it after a couple months. Even though i was stressed and worried about my future (how good of a job, affect on children), it did not seem to be a big deal with them. Was always difficult mtg parents and their family but just got thru it. Girlfriends and their family were always supportive so lucky that way."
