Humming before you say your name helps. A slight, low hum of the "M" sound, then say your name. For example, mmmJohn. Another way is to tell yourself that it is ok to stutter. Yes, stuttering sucks, but it is ok to stutter and ok to be someone who stutters.Saying that to yourself before the day begins and especially before speaking to others will also help.
