It was 100% the same for me, but I flipped it around this year. The anxiety that comes from you being anxious about stuttering causes you to stutter, which causes you to be anxious etc etc death spiral of stress. The solution is something that is a lot more than just practice. For me, I really had to stop myself from hating my stutter. It took a long time, to say the least.
