Not extreme, but things I wouldn’t do if I was fluent: I’ve cycled through 2-3 different names when ordering at Starbucks. I’ve walked across multiple buildings to talk to a coworker instead of a 1 minute call. Biggest regret is cancelling an in-person interview (phase 2) when applying to an Ivy League university.
