Were the suggestions stutter related or just general customer service. Your employers are surely aware of your stutter right, I doubt they are trying to catch you out and are fine with you stammering on a call. Most sane people don't care if you stutter so why would your coworkers be listening? If they ask you about it it might actually help, I know it helps me.
