I have an appointment with one January 19th. He’s great. Actually I came to this site to ask what is the best thing to do when he gets a block on the next word? Is it Ok to interrupt and change the subject or question? I have time to wait but he really doesn’t. Appointments are backed up at the practice. Is it better to just ask yes and no questions? I’m a pretty fast talker. Should I slow down? Also is it best not to look directly at him during the struggle? It seems a bit of a rude stare down. PLEASE tell me anything that is helpful or unhelpful in your conversation partner.
