Have you seen my comments here before? I’m a preschool teacher who was having usually 1 short block/sentence. A parent came in and asked where we kept their snowpants. I stared blankly for many seconds bc of a bad block and the 4 year old laughed at me. His dad (who I suspected believed in spanking) threatened to punish him, which I did not want! But I couldn’t talk to explain this! So I wrote my resignation letter. Never needed to send it because I found a free podcast from a SLP who specializes in dysfluency, and two months later, my blocks were basically gone. it’s been a year and my fluency only improves. I paid nothing, but had to do some very hard work.
