How do people usually react to your stutter?

How do people usually react to your stutter? For me people don't really say anything about my stutter. It seems like people will look in my eyes more intently or nod along more than with other people to show they are listening. Rarely I will get the oposite reaction where people will look away and avoid eye contact because they are uncomfortable about my stutter.
