Absolutely, almost all stutterers want to be speakers and blame our stuttering for all the bad things that happen in our lives, but it's not true actually. I’ve been stuttering since I was 3, and for my entire life, I blamed it until I started to understand that I do actually have a lot of experience in many things. I’ve achieved some results even with stuttering, and believe you or not, but for my 35 years, I was bullied twice in school. So my fear of stuttering is only fear of what I have in my head. And when you become an adult, you just need to understand that it isn't something that must keep you from moving forward. It’s something that makes you special, and again, believe you or not, we have absolutely the same opportunities as others. The only thing that makes us better is that we need to think about what to say, and not very many people who aren't stuttering don't know how to do this. Be brave. We are okay!
