My speech therapist used to stutter herself and she still does today but shes much more fluent. Ive been with her for almost 6 months and she has helped me immensely, ive even talked to another retired speech therapist about that and she said its good. And its pretty much a filler but not an audible one and helps me get over blocks. Weve done much more than just that and have talked about other methods to help me get over a stutter. And how can they not make me fluent??? Isnt that what im in speech therapy for?
