How's that going to work out? That depends on a lot of factors. But I think the main one is how much work one is willing to put into it. Comedy is hard. It takes a tremendous amount of work But I think there is a great analogy to be applied here. I'm always curious how much work people put into their fluency? Are they spending two or three hours a day working on their fluency? When what they're doing doesn't work, do they try again? Do they change their material until they get it to work? Successful comedians spend their life working on their material. I'm certain more stutterers would dramatically increase their fluency if they applied that much effort to their fluency. I can only speak anecdotally about the impact of putting in the work and the success of my fluency. But I will tell you that it wasn't until I got serious about putting in the work everyday that I saw improvement.
