Yes, for sever stutterers it's ok to get speech therapy.. but it will never fix the root cause as they're treating only symptoms, not the cause.. Just like most psychiatrist, They'll prescribe you medication to numb you so you can never sort the issue out... But Psychotherapists for example, that's another story
