I also stutter on my name. I can relate big time! When I moved out of my home town I changed my name to something I knew I wouldn’t stutter on just so I could introduce myself without the awkwardness. I use that fake name now when I order coffee, meals etc. My own husband met me as that name! I like to think I have two personalities. I try to say something before my name as that does help but not always.
