Alright. We sometimes have to think in terms of protecting ourselves, in which case the scope of what we should concern ourselves with can narrow. In a stressful situation, it's sometimes better to simply boil our interest down to "getting the words out". The world can get pushed to the background in the meantime, for a while at least... ;)
