Similar age and I'm in the same boat. I've never tried because I was afraid of blocking and screwing up. I think the best course of action is to just be upfront about it. They'll find anyway so you may as well filter out the people who aren't cool with it. Saves you a lot of anxiety and lessens the pressure. Maybe even put it in your bio.
