I took sertralin for many years for my stutter and the depression/lowered mood that comes with it. It did wonders for me, though I only took half a pill, 25mg. Though lately I noticed an increase detachment from emotions and feelinfs of apathy etc Also it affected my deep sleep, felt like I hardly got a good nights sleep while taking it. But if your stutter is severe or if you have alot of emotional issues because of it, I would recommend trying sertralin. But talk to a doctor first
