severe stuttering while livin' in the student dorm For me it is a hardcore challenge which slowly destroys mental state and confidence. I've been living like this for 3 years and still haven't adjusted. Thank god my neighbors are kind and understanding people. But the inability to blurt out at least one word normally keeps you in constant tension. Every day you experience a cringe and shame from yourself when once again you get stuck on every second sound and your face is shackled in grimaces that you can't control. It's a tough challenge. Have you experienced living in a student dorm as a stutter?
