I haven't taken antidepressants before my at first my ADHD meds did seem to help my stutter. But that effect went way even when the dose was upped cause my the meds weren't helping my ADHD either. I'm read a study that a high dose if vitamin B1 (300mg) helped reduce stuttered syllables from 9% to 1% in a trial. I'm actually omw to pick up some rn. Here's the research study: https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fnhum.2021.662204/full According to the study, 6 out of 19 participates had a complete remission of their stutter 5 years later if they continued taking B1 at high dosage. I think the reason why it wasn't all participates is because some stutterers stutter for neurological reasons and some for trauma related or psychological reasons. I dont think this will help people who's stutter is mainly non-neurological. That's my hypothesis.
