Yup, turn 40 next week. Life is good. Recent sobriety has me seeing much-needed, new adventures in life such as owning a home and the possibility of a new, more satisfying job. I don't think I imagined much about my future in my 20s, was too busy partying lol. I guess it's about what I thought it'd be. Stuttering wise, I still block somewhat frequently. Moreso when I haven't gotten enough sleep or am overly excited/anxious. I still use 'easier' words sometimes, and even pretended to forget a word the other day. Haven't done that in a while. Honestly though, when I do it's not a big deal. The amount of physical tension and time I spend thinking about those blocks is next to nothing. The town I'm moving to starts with a hard 'O' which can be tough, but bring it on!
