Do people actually make fun of stuttering to a stutter's face? Maybe I've been super lucky, but I don't think I've had someone say something to me since I was 19, when a cab driver mistake my stutter for drinking a little too much. I mean, I wouldn't be shocked if my stutter gets brought up when I'm not in the room and it's definitely caused me problems with things like dating (or maybe my personality sucks). Are people that cruel and I've just lived a sheltered life?
