The best little tip that helps me personally the most. I don’t know if someone has already mentioned this but I came up with it recently. If you apologise and say “I’m sorry” or explain you have a stutter most people will say “take your time” or “don’t worry about it”. Usually something friendly or that I can write it down also. After that I find I can speak much better and I’m more relaxed. They will also understand you aren’t unintelligent and know that you are stuttering. Remember you do not need to apologise for anything! I am not a specialist or very experienced in this. Thanks
