A new experience. I recently got a job in the government sector, so there was an induction training program organized for new appointees. On the first day of our training, we were asked to introduce ourselves as the mic was passed around. When it was my turn, I began to panic, the back of my neck started to ache, and my hands became sweaty. I took a Clonaxit tablet and kept it under my tongue. I tried deep breathing, inhaling, and exhaling, which helped a bit. I was still convinced that I would stumble over my name and that everyone would laugh at my helplessness. However, when the was passed to me, I introduced myself in a hall full of people, and to my sheer surprise, I did well and had no issues at all. I was so happy because I had never done anything like that before; I usually chickened out in such situations. There was an adrenaline rush in my body throughout the day. I’m not sure whether it was the medicine that helped me or the mic that amplified my voice, but I thought I would share this experience with you all.
