I’m not talking about another version of me who doesn’t stutter nor wished about it. I’m talking about you comparing people who stutters to people who are blind, deaf or having a mentally retarded child. If one would compare themselves to them, what makes you think they won’t compare themselves to people who has life much better? And you saying about we can’t have another version of ourselves who doesn’t stutter is precisely why i said to “accept” it. But don’t be thankful about having a disability. It’s absurd. Why would you be thankful for something that’s been an obstacle all your life? I agree with you on being grateful for other things in life. But for my stutter? Nah…
