If I don't use a technique I still stutter, on every letter (severe stutterer). If I use a technique then: * visualizing that I'm alone - then I don't stutter * using the DF-method - then I don't stutter * choosing-method - the first 60 minutes I don't stutter, but afterwards I 'choose' to justify stuttering again in my experience * affirmations, i.e. 'Fluency is my way of speaking' - I don't stutter for maximum 1 minute * hypnosis exercise: visualizing that I'm behind the projector, watching myself standing in a cinema who is watching myself sitting in a chair, who is watching myself on the cinema screen where the movie replays 'me stuttering' - then distance myself from this picture and slowly let it fade away - I don't stutter for 3 days. Afterwards I justify stuttering again
