You can be an RN, as many people here have pointed out. However, you're also pursuing a career where you'll have to confront your stutter every day. Some times, it will be exhausting, and you'll feel like you're working three times as hard as anyone on the floor (because you are). You're going to have to work on improving your speech for the rest of your life. This doesn't necessarily mean therapy, but it does mean intentionally addressing it and searching out ways to improve. In short, it's going to be hard work, so make sure it's something you want to do! Source: am school teacher with mod/severe stutter
