I’m in my mid 40’s and in a similar situation as OP. Last year I interviewed for a new position in my same company with my VP, Director and Manager. I knew my manager but not my VP or Director. The best thing I did was at the start of the interview was to say, “As some of you know, I do stutter and I wanted you all to know that it’s not a big deal. If you don’t understand something I say please ask me to repeat it, this is not a taboo subject.” I have found that doing this (my old therapist called this advertising), it lets others know that you are okay talking about your stutter. In fact, one of the questions I was asked was, “If you are offered this position, are you comfortable speaking in front of audiences? That is part of the new jobs responsibilities.” I replied, “Well, that is kind of what I’m doing now.” I was offered the new position:)
