Don't dismiss the experience of other people just because you feel it doesn't apply to you. Also, please don't say things like this: >The only person responsible for your stutter is you and it is up to you to fix it. It makes it sound like it's the stutterers _fault_. Please don't call anyone _lazy_ either: >a good place to start is to become more disciplined. --- We get posts like yours in here from time to time, and I think they're kind of missing the point of what a community is supposed to be about. _Support_ and _understanding_ seem like key components in a community like this. A "pep talk" needs to be handled with care, lest it just comes off as deprecating and/or lacking in empathy. It's great you've found an approach that works for you, but don't assume it'll work for everyone else. Stutter is varied and complex. Some people are likely to be worse off than you.
