Let go. I call the technique letting go of coping mechanisms. If you are overt, when a speech block arises, you will feel immediate physical tension. The overt then copes using physical force and control. The correct thing to do is the opposite, letting the physical tension be, and let it pass. Then flow happens. If you are a covert, when a speech block arises, your thoughts will run wild. The covert then copes using substitution and avoidance. Correct thing to do is letting your thoughts be, let them pass. Then flow happens.
