I recently got promoted to a position within my government agency to work fully remote from home. But I was out on the field for 5 years before. I work in the Veterinary Medicine field. Basically we use zoom and teams more than the phone but I struggle more with talking on the phone and zoom compared to in person. I definitely enjoy the flexibility from working from home but I do miss the field sometimes. My speech hasn’t gotten better or worse. My coworkers know I stutter. Some days or better than others. I feel the way you handle your work and carry yourself plays a big part in the way people perceive you.
