maybe I'm terrible or maybe the environment I grew up in, we did make light of my stuttering. My family and close friends all give me shit and I give myself shit, that being said it really is all light-hearted so if someone I don't know or don't know well comes at me being snarky I stand my own or if my mom or best friend hear them they go apeshit on them. Lol it's weird but it works for us. Also the only people who ever asked why I say I...I...I are children (my nephews both did this at some point) and then I do just explain that it's just something I do and can't help it and keep it as a no big deal thing
