Some of my friends in high school would make fun of me and I was to embarrass to say I have a speech impediment. I also was a lot more confident in myself back then so I rarely stuttered. Now I’m an adult and I stutter more since I’m not that confident anymore. Though I live unapologetically me now so if I want to say something I’m going to say it regardless if I stutter. Sometimes I have to stop and I’ll laugh and start over if I get stuck on a word. I’m sure my friends now are aware of it since I stutter often but they don’t make fun of me and they’re always patient which I appreciate
