Sometimes, stuttering can come across as charming to young women... believe it or not. The common frame of reference on the thing is that stuttering makes you nervous - and if you're nervous around a girl, it means you like her a lot... but in a way that's very unassuming and gentle. For those of us who have a long term problem with stuttering, it can be hard to wrap our heads around this.
