Does reading aloud on a consistent basis contribute to decreased stuttering occurrences?
Content
Does reading aloud on a consistent basis contribute to decreased stuttering occurrences? Does anyone know how well reading aloud works to subside stuttering? I recall attempting this strategy a couple of times about a year ago, and seeing it prove somewhat successful in partially eliminating my stutter, at times. However, I found it difficult to consistently perform these readings (life got in the way and impeded me), and I eventually ceased doing them, altogether. I'm determined to begin reading aloud once again, for I have nothing to lose. However, I'm here to ask whether or not any fellow Reddit-stutterers have personally attempted this method and deem it successful or not.
