Tbh if I were dating a girl who thought this I would want to break up with her. If any of my kids stutter I'm going to feel bad enough without a lifetime of feeling blamed by my wife for passing down something beyond my control. Also stuttering is really unpredictable. It's possible you'd have kids who stutter, or that stutter and grow out of it (none of my grandad's eleven kids have a severe stutter like him), or none of your kids could stutter. There are a lot of stutterers in my family line all things considered, but in the big picture it's still a really small percentage, and the percentage of severe stutterers is even smaller.
