Is it normal to take a breath in through your mouth before speaking?

Is it normal to take a breath in through your mouth before speaking? I've realized that whenever I start speaking, I always take a deep breath in from my mouth. I don't know if this is what everyone does but I feel like it might be an annoying trait I'd have to fix.
