No worries about replying late. I’m just grateful you took the time to reply. I just finished googling Lee Lovett and found a website where he tells his story about suffering from stuttering. I haven’t finished reading it yet but so far I can definitely relate to some of the experiences that he mentions. Like, Lee Lovett, I also remember the first time I stuttered in class. I was in 3rd grade and I was asked to read out loud. In the middle of a sentence, I started stuttering and the whole class started to laugh. I started trying harder to not stutter but it just got worst. Everyone, including the teacher thought I was joking around. I could talk to the teacher and my fellow classmates but I could not finish reading the paragraph without stuttering. Nobody really believed that I stuttered but it was so embarrassing and humiliating. In the end, I laughed it off with everyone and played it off as a joke as well. I figured it was better than getting bullied about it.
